Version 2.0 - Last updated 2026-07-29
This policy explains how refunds work for Crabware. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, so Creem's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
Crabware sells digital license keys. A key is delivered to you immediately after payment, shown on the confirmation page and sent to your buyer email. Because the product is delivered right away, by completing checkout you agree that the statutory right of withdrawal, or cooling-off period, is waived once delivery begins.
You do not need to buy a key to evaluate Crabware. Every account starts with a 7-day free trial in the desktop app, with no credit card required, so you can confirm the software works for you before you pay.
Contact us first. Email [email protected] from the buyer email used at checkout, with "Refund" in the subject line, and include your Creem order or receipt number if you have it. Creem, our Merchant of Record, handles refunds and chargebacks and returns the money to your original payment method. Please contact us, or Creem, before starting a chargeback, so we can resolve the issue directly.
If the software is materially defective and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will issue a refund at our discretion. We look at every request and reply within 2 business days.
Nothing in this policy limits the mandatory refund, withdrawal, or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
When a purchase is refunded, the license key from that purchase is revoked. If it was activated, its license grant ends. Access may continue only when the account has another effective key.
Crabware license keys are one-time purchases. Monthly and Annual describe the access duration, not a recurring subscription. There is nothing to cancel and no automatic renewal charge, and the free trial ends on its own with no charge.
