A plain-language agreement between you and Crabware Labs for your use of the ChatDbg software and account.

1. Who we are

The ChatDbg software and account services are operated by Li Jianduo, an independent solo developer trading as Crabware Labs ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Your license

While your account has an effective license key and remains in good standing, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use ChatDbg on your own devices. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software, or attempt to circumvent its licensing or account controls.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use ChatDbg. Keep your credentials secure and give us accurate information. You must be old enough to form a contract in your country, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Authorized use only

ChatDbg is for analyzing software you own or are authorized to analyze. Using it outside that scope is a breach of these terms. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the specifics.

5. License keys and billing

ChatDbg sells Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime license keys as one-time purchases. These are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically. Creem is the Merchant of Record for our orders, processes payment details, and may apply its buyer terms to your purchase. A self-serve 7-day free trial is available in the desktop app after you sign in; it does not require a credit card and ends automatically with no charge.

6. Refunds

You can request a full refund within 14 days of a ChatDbg license-key purchase for any reason, with no conditions and no exceptions. This applies to Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime keys. Our Refund Policy explains how to request one and what happens afterwards.

7. Your model key (BYOK)

ChatDbg is bring-your-own-key: you supply your own OpenAI-compatible API key, and the assistant uses it to run the analyses you request. Your use of that provider is governed by their terms, and you are responsible for your own inference costs and for keeping your key secure.

8. Intellectual property

We own ChatDbg and its software. You own your data and the results of your analyses; nothing here transfers rights in the software to you beyond the license above.

9. No warranty

ChatDbg is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is a debugging and analysis tool; you are responsible for how you use it and for the systems you run it against.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crabware Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using ChatDbg and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive - ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits - continue after termination.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. For material changes, we will ask you to accept the updated terms in the app.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not override the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live.
